Video Marketing For Attorneys

Marketing your company on YouTube has become one of the newest marketing trends for attorneys and legal offices. One of the reasons this marketing strategy has taken off is because YouTube videos are showing up more and more for certain searches on Google. This is extremely valuable because of the large, yet increasing amount of competition to be on the first page of Google’s search results. Now that almost every lawyer seems to have a website and is fighting for that valuable real estate on the first page of search results for “Milwaukee’s top attorney” or “divorce lawyers,” it is extremely important to find other ways to dominate search results. Contact us to market your law firm.  Below are some ideas for types of videos that you can create to promote your law office.

Promotional Videos:

Promotional videos are simply videos that discuss how great you and your firm are. The video can be of you discussing your strengths as a firm and your company’s values, or it could just be a video with words and music that explain what your company does and why.

Informational Videos:

In every field, there are a lot of frequently asked questions (FAQs). I’m sure as a lawyer; people are full of questions. Some of the questions that one of my lawyer friends said he frequently received include:
• What is the OWI rate in my state?
• What happens if I refuse a breathalyzer in my home state?
• Is there a way to avoid being arrested?
• Is there such a thing as legally sober in my state?
People have a lot of questions, and one of the best ways to answer those questions is through a series of videos. A lot of people would prefer the video answers rather than written content because videos take less effort and engage more areas of our minds. You can include these videos on your FAQ page as well as on your YouTube channel.

Introductory Videos:

Introductory videos are made to introduce you, your firm and what you do for potential clients. Below is a great example of an introductory video regarding free consultations.

The speaker in this video introduced the firm’s top attorney and explained which areas of the law that are her specialty. You should try to keep your videos short because people tend to have short attention spans, especially when looking at things online.
